Your own moment
Come for quiet.
Ask when the church is open for a quiet visit. Take a seat, notice the room, and make space for silence or prayer.
Confirm opening hours before you travel.
SOUND · STILLNESS · NATURE
Explore sound and stillness today. Follow the creation of a timber church in Swedish nature.
One vision, from the experience of listening to the place we are designing for it.
ATMOSPHERE IMAGE · CONCEPT DESIGN
THE PLACE WE ARE CREATING
A walk through the forest. A room shaped for listening. A timber church that brings the vision into form.
Concept design · the site is still to be chosen.
BEGIN WITH LISTENING
Explore the pattern. Hear how a room changes sound. Take a quiet minute at your own pace.
01 — SACRED GEOMETRY
What do you see?
Draw a circle. Hear a tone. Let a simple pattern become harmony.
A single circle. A simple beginning.
One centre circle and six equal circles around it form the same motif used in Nature’s Church. A new circle adds a note; the last brings a chord. The sound is a musical illustration, not a claim about healing frequencies.
The same seven circles appear in the church.See the shared geometry ↗
02 — RESONANCE
What do you hear?
Same melody. Different spaces. Listen to what the room adds.
The melody leaves a long, soft trail.
Stone reflects sound. Many church interiors let chant and organ notes linger, creating an enveloping listening experience. This lingering sound is called reverberation. Shape, surfaces, and room size all matter. Our three settings illustrate the effect. They are not recordings of actual churches or predictions of the planned timber hall.
The room is part of the listening experience.Explore the sound hall ↗
03 — SOUND & STILLNESS
What do you notice within?
Listen gently. Breathe naturally. Make room for stillness or prayer.
One minute of organ music for quiet reflection.
Choose a time for quiet prayer or an organ recital. Sit comfortably, listen to the room, and notice the silence after the music.
For a guided listening or sound-healing session, arrange it with the parish and respect worshippers. Keep music gentle and leave space for prayer.
Here, sound healing means listening for relaxation and spiritual reflection. Experiences differ; this is not a proven medical treatment.

ONE VISION · TAKING FORMTHE VISION
The vision is to bring sound, stillness and nature together in one place. Nature’s Church begins with a simple intention: create a space for shared listening, sound healing and quiet reflection.
The path, the timber, the proportions and the lion motifs all belong to that intention. We are developing the design openly, one drawing and one building step at a time.

From listening here to being there
You don’t need a famous cathedral. Start with a local church and ask the parish what is available.
Your own moment
Ask when the church is open for a quiet visit. Take a seat, notice the room, and make space for silence or prayer.
Confirm opening hours before you travel.
Music in the room
Listen to live music and the way its final notes linger. A recital offers a simple first experience of church acoustics.
Ask about dates, tickets, and accessibility.
A shared experience
Suggest a guided time of gentle music, silence, and prayer. The parish decides whether and how it can host.
Arrange a session with the parish in advance.
These are ways to begin, not a programme of confirmed events. Opening times, sessions, and arrangements vary by church.
Make the first step easy
Speak with the parish office or use the contact details on the church noticeboard. Ask what is happening and what you need to know before arriving.
Choose a parish and send the message yourself.
An invitation to parishes
Invite people to discover your church through music, listening, and prayer. Begin with one small gathering, shaped by your parish and rooted in the Christian purpose of the space.
Bring together a parish lead, a church musician, and someone to welcome visitors.
A welcome, gentle live music, unhurried silence, and an invitation to pray.
Share a clear time, duration, access information, and any booking or cost.
Start with the suggested 30-minute programme. Adapt the music and prayer with your parish, around worship and the needs of the church.
Use the hosting guideBefore you go
Nature’s Church is a design project, with its site still to be chosen. The drawings and build manual show the proposed place. The listening experiences on this website are available now; visits and gatherings in existing churches are arranged with each host parish.
We use the term for listening with a focus on relaxation and spiritual reflection. Our approach centres on church music, stillness, and prayer. Experiences differ; this is not a medical treatment.
You do not need musical knowledge or a listening technique. For a first visit, simply sit comfortably and listen. Ask the parish what to expect and follow the guidance for that particular gathering.
Each church sets its own arrangements. Confirm the duration, booking, cost, and accessibility with the parish before travelling. Our 30-minute hosting guide is a suggested format, not a booked event.
Arrange any music or guided session with the parish first. During an ordinary visit, keep the space quiet, respect worshippers, and follow the church’s guidance.
